“Fast Food” Burger

This is a great quick meal. It’s full of healthy fats, in particular Omega-3 fatty acids and very rich in antioxidants. In addition it’s packed with minerals, vitamins and protein.This makes it a perfect meal for training and recovery. One of my goto meals when I need something quick and very healthy!

Equipment needed:

  • High quality blender (e.g. Vitamix)

Ingredients:

  • 100g walnuts
  • 85g hemp seeds
  • 2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Hemp Seed oil
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • pinch of sea salt

Preparation:

  1. Mix the nuts and seeds in a blender
  2. Throw all the incredients into a bowl and mix them well (use a spoon or your hands)
  3. Form 2 burgers with your hands
  4. Optional: Fry them with a little bit of coconut oil in a pan. You can also server them raw if you prefer
  5. Serve it up with salad, veggies or sweet potato chips
