Nature’s energy beverage

Yerba Mate tea – I use this tea as an alternative to coffee to get a natural energy boost. It’s a nutritious source of energy for mental alertness and good health. If you ever lack some energy, have a cup of yerba mate. If I have a hard workout ahead of me, I have a cup for some extra energy.

Equipment needed: no special equipment needed
Prep Time: ~2 minutes


  • 1/2 or 1 tsp of yerba mate extract
  • 1 cup of hot water
  • lemon or mint (optional)

Preparation: Pour hot water and yerba mate into a cup, stir well. Add a bit of lemon or mint to add some nice flavor to it.

Tip: Use in moderation and don’t over consume. I usually drink it only if I need some extra energy for a hard workout or use it as a coffee replacement for a couple of days.
